WHU team vs Astra Giurgiu
|
I have no idea who's fit & available.
Any idea who Bilic will put out and the formation?

Expect a strong team so hopefully no Nolan, Jarvis or Maiga.

Jarvis deserves a start. Put a shift in last week.

I'd put a good shift in too, still means I'm not good enough.

I reckon:
Adrian JOB, Reid (if fit), Ogbonna, Creswell Noble, Kouyate Amalfitano, Payet, Jarvis Valencia
Collins for Reid if he's not fit.
Personally I would play Poyet instead of Noble.

at a guess:
adrian job reid ogbonna cresswell kouyate noble amalfitano payet jarvis valencia
tomkins and sakho both suspended (actually im not sure if payet has another game to serve, anyone know?), reid will hopefully be fit, will obiang has recovered from his knock or jenks will have trained enough?

Jenkinson hasn't featured yet in preseason but as he was with the U21s in the summer and is a fitness freak he may well be able to come straight into the side rather than JOB, which would obviously be a bonus.

Amalfitano needs a rest, replace him with someone who knows what they are doing.

On Payet
Was 2 yellows the second for diving, so should be available.

Amafitano can do one, Samuelsen for him and give Javis a try on the right.
Adrian O'Brien - Reid - Ogbonna - Cresswell Noble - Kouyate Jarvis - Payet - Samuelsen Valencia

That always confused me as to why that would be two games.
But he has been registered for two anyway, from everything I read.

from the OS..
The Hammers have already gone through two rounds of qualifying to reach this stage, and with first team stars such as Cheikhou Kouyate and Enner Valencia returning alongside summer signings Dimitri Payet and Angelo Ogbonna, Slaven Bilic will have a strong squad to choose from.

Should go pretty full strength for the first leg, we can't jeep making the same mistakes
Be nice if we had a full bench this time too - no excuse to not!

Lineups below look as good as we are going to get.
Maybe Samuelsen for Amalfitano. Done more so far this preseason.
I guess the other option is Zarate and Valencia up front with Payet behind and Poyet, Noble and Kouyate behind that. Not sure Zarate has the running to make that work though.
Valencia just needs to pretend that the Romanians are Mexico.
